The best and forgotten of rock music, ambient and electronic music, and jazz.

I think that title pretty effectively sums up my objective, here.
If you didn't get the message, my intention is to inform you of the best (and forgotten...especially forgotten) of prog rock, art rock, and the other previously listed genres of music.

I'm not a particularly organized person, but I do tend to arrange my thoughts into lists. Not necessarily in order, in this case, but in some sort of...structured fashion.

Unfortunately, many of the bands will suffer from lack of longevity or...not having a lot of albums. Sure, it's unfortunate, but whaddya gunna do?

I also can't guarantee that you'll like any of the bands I list, here. After all, there is a reason that some bands are more popular than others.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sharing these groups because I like their music, personally, but I can't say the same for you.
I won't tolerate any band bashing, either. I'm not particularly sure of how one would accomplish such a feat, but we'll see where time's inexorable march takes us.

Thanks for taking time out of your relentlessly busy schedule to shuffle through this website and its reviews, and whatnot. I am forever in debt (both mortally and financially, somehow) to whoever has done so.
